Recently the media was flooded with the news of Augie local government primary healthcare department allegations of abandoning a certain referral ambulance in Augie local government area of Kebbi state.

Reacting to the allegations, the director primary healthcare department Hussaini liman said that, the allegations are baseless “I don’t know the source of such allegations, yes the ambulance is under repair but not abandoned over fourty thousand Naira as claimed, before the allegations I did say the ambulance repairs have attained at least 80% of completion” he said.

Liman added that when he came as director of primary healthcare department of Augie local government he met four vehicles grounded but he has been able to repair them and put them back to use but lamented that, people refused to recognize that fact but put their eyes on the ambulance under repair.

They further explained that despite the paucity of funds a lot has been achieved adding that very soon the disputed ambulance will hit the roads to compliment the vehicle converted to referral ambulance before its final repairs.

He urged members of the public and the local government community to disregard the allegations which he described as the handiwork of mischief makers who want to get cheap popularity.
