The Kano state APC deputy governor candidate, Sule Garo has carved a name for himself in the hearts of many through his numerous Empowerment programs.
Garo, who served as commissioner for local government under Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje distinguished himself by embarking on life-changing schemes which has succeeded in providing a source of livelihood for youth and women in Kano state.
He has been described as the man who took government to the people by ensuring that even those at the villages and the teaming youth and women in the city enjoy devidend of democracy.
Being a youth, Hon. Murtala Garo understood and shared in their plight, as a result, never relented in providing them succour through different programs.
Unlike many others, the grassroot politician uplifted thousands from poverty by providing them start-up cash, necessary materials and equipment for their businesses.
Recall that, the then Commissioner for Local Government, early this year, empowered 1, 275 young men and women drawn from Kabo L.G.A where various groups including schools, Ulamas, Hisbah Officials and some female politicians were empowered with 5 cars and 61 motorcycles.
Kano State Governor’s Wife, Professor Hafsat Abdullahi Ganduje who launched the program expressed delight over the gesture.
The state, under Sule Garo no doubt has witnessed unprecedented empowerment programs with millions spent which has taken off many youth from the streets.
With all these achievements as a commissioner, one can only imagine what the deputy governor candidate will do when elected in the forthcoming election.
Hon. Murtala Sule Garo is a politician with vision for the people particularly, those at the grassroot. It is hoped he will support the Gawuna administration when elected to achieve tremendously.
