Kano state gubernatorial candidate of People’s Redemption Party (PRP) Salihu Tanko Yakasai (Dawisu) has appointed Suhaib Auwal Gwagwarwa as his campaign spokesperson.

The appointment was contained in a statement signed by PRP gubernatorial candidate Salihu Tanko Yakasai and made available to newsmen in Kano.

According to the statement, Mr. Suhaib is an all-round journalist with vast experience in TV, Radio, online journalism and Social Media.

Mr. Suhaib started his journalism carrier in Freedom Radio Kano, and rose through the ranks to become reporter and digital media coordinator. He served at Liberty TV, Kaduna (News and Video Editor).

Mr. Suhaib also worked with some online news Online platforms in Kano, including Solacebase and Daily News 24.

Until this appointment, Mr. Suhaib works with Gaskia TV (Satellite TV based in Ghana) as assistant Kano bureau chief, and Premier Radio as Digital Media consultant.

The New PRP Gubernatorial Campaign Spokesperson holds Masters in Mass Communication from Igbinedion University Okada in Edo state, and he has attended several courses and workshops within and outside Nigeria.
