1. She is the world’s oldest monarch and the longest reigning sovereign.

3. On November 20, 1947, she married her late husband, Prince Philip, in Westminster Abbey.

4. Her reign included 15 prime ministers, the last of whom was Liz Truss, who was appointed by the queen earlier this week.

5. Her four children, eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren survive Queen.
