 Katsina State Government says it has opened its portal for interested indegenes with talent to download and apply for the state’s National Talent Hunt Challenge (KNTHC) season II competition.

Alhaji Ahmad Mansur-Kurfi, the Chairman of the KNTHC who disclosed this on Thursday in Katsina, said forms would be distributed across the Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state for those interested.

He added that those interested could also download the KNTHC application through the play station and apply for the talent competition.

 

According to him, the competition is aimed towards encouraging innovation and developing the potential talent of youths.

 

The KNTHC Chairman added that, as in season one, season II of the competition would be held in four different categories.

 

According to him, three winners are expected to emerge from each of the four categories arranged for the competition as well as an overall winner.

 

According to him, the categories in the competition are Arts and Design, Automotive Modelling and Products, ICT Design and Music and Entertainment.

 

He urged youths to take advantage of the opportunity by participating in the competition to add value to their lives, families, Katsina state and Nigeria in general.

 

Mansur-Kurfi also  expressed appreciation to members of the press for their full support towards the success of the last season.

 

He further enjoined them to partner with the programme to ensure the success of the season II from the beginning to the end.

 

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Season one of the competition was successfully concluded in the first quarter of 2022, with 7,000 contestants. (NAN)
