Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has constituted chairmen and members of the Local Government Service Commission, the state’s Christian Welfare Board and the state’s Muslim Welfare Board.

Mr Richard Olatunde, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, made this known in Akure on Friday.

Olatunde said that the governor had approved the appointment of Mr Femi Idris as the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission and Rev. Raphael Agboola as a full time Chairman of the state’s Christian Welfare Board.

According to him, the appointments take immediate effect.

“Other full-time members of the Local Government Service Commission appointed include; Mr Ife Iji; Mr Dennis Alonge, Mrs Ronke Ojo and Comrade Bola Taiwo.

“Others appointed as part-time members of the Christian Welfare Board include; Rev. Dr John Oladapo; Apostle Charles Ajepe; Pastor Funmilayo Odeyemi; and Rev. Father Fidelis Olokunboro.

“Gov Akeredolu also approved the appointment of part-time members of the state’s Muslim Welfare Board. They are: Alhaja Fausat Olorunyomi; Alhaji Abdurasheed Olawoye; Alhaji Abdulateef Akerele; and Alhaji Nureni Akorede,’’ he said.

The governor congratulated the new appointees and charged them to be diligent in the discharge of their duties. (NAN)
