Mr Dasuki Arabi, the Director-General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), has advised Nigerians to embrace peace and unity for the country to witness free and fair election in 2023.
Arabi gave the advice when he featured in the News Agency of Nigeria Forum, on Sunday in Abuja.
Arabi said politicians should not be beating drums of war whenever there was election.
He also advised the media, especially social media practitioners to put Nigeria first ahead of any interest.

“We should love Nigeria before any other thing by projecting it in a good light with truth and accuracy.
“We don’t have any other country but Nigeria, wherever you go after three weeks, you will be looking for a Nigerian restaurant to eat Nigerian meals.
“That means you are homesick; we should keep our house in order not to cause trouble; politicians will come and go, the nation remains,” he advised.
Arabi said that the relationship between President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Goodluck Jonathan should serve as a lesson for Nigerians.
He noted that in spite of the change of power in 2015, “the last president and the present president have become friends.”
Arabi added that the present administration had also continued with some of the policies of past administrations in the country.
According to him, Nigerians should have confidence in the capacity of the Independent National Electoral Commission to deliver free, fair and credible elections in 2023. (NAN)
