Kano state Chamber for Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA) said it has laid down modalities that would boost trading activities in the state.
The Association promised to unveil their activities on trade mission anytime soon.
Speaking to Daily News 24 in Kano, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, KACCIMA, Malam Hassan Tahir Yaro said they are on the journey to creating programmes that will benefit their members and significantly improve their business from trading to production.

“We are about to start our activities as we could not make it in 2020 and 2021, every year we bring out our programmes and activities.

“We mostly travel to other countries to participate in trade fairs, seminars, business conferences that can bring additional experience and activities. In this year, we want to increase membership and how we will change the mindset of our members to be from trading to production aspect”.
He also elaborated on how they have empowered the youths giving them computer training and computers while some were given scholarships to study in different parts of the world.
“We had a programme that empowered close to 100 youths with a computer system. We had a collaboration with Doctor Alhaji Aminu Dantata. We shared it with entrepreneur youths, and I am happy to tell you that most of our beneficiaries are doing very well.” He said.
KACCIMA, which was founded in 1922, as a chamber of different miners, traders, Agriculturists which creates and links one business community to another and at the same time intermediate, organize, sensitization and seminars within Kano community and beyond.
