A newly posted Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Adamu Idris Zakari has assumed duty at the Kano Command Headquarters.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Command Public Relations Officer, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi.

The statement added that Idris Zakari took over from Abu Abdu Tambuwal who was been redeployed to Rivers State Command.

The new Commandant Adamu Idris Zakari was born at Kirikasamma in Jigawa State.

“An experienced Civil Defender, he served in different State Commands across the country”, the statement said.
