The decision followed the chairman’s inspection visit to the facility on Tuesday as part of his ongoing monitoring of schools and health centers across the local government.
According to a statement by the council’s Information Officer, Alawiyya Wada Isah, Comrade Basaf arrived at Maikalwa Clinic around 8:20 a.m. and met only two workers on duty, namely Malam Garba Maigadi and Hajiya Maishara, a cleaner at the clinic. After waiting until about 9:15 a.m., he observed that most of the staff were still absent.
Moved by the dedication of the two present staff, the chairman confirmed their appointments as temporary workers, commending them for their commitment to serving the community.
He also cautioned other employees under Kumbotso Local Government to take their duties seriously and maintain punctuality, stressing that government service requires responsibility and hard work.
