Security analyst Zagazola Makama, in a post on his X account, disclosed that the suspects stormed the area with the intention of eliminating specific individuals but were stopped before they could strike. Their plan was reportedly uncovered by a vigilant local security team that moved swiftly to foil the operation.
Investigations indicate that the suspects are linked to a wider network of hired killers who use disguises to infiltrate neighborhoods undetected. They are now in security custody and face further interrogation before possible prosecution.
Residents of Kurna have praised the prompt response of the security team, stressing that more surveillance and intelligence gathering are needed to avert future threats.
