The demonstration took place on Monday in front of the Federal Ministry of Finance headquarters, where the ex-soldiers, who voluntarily disengaged from service on July 1, 2024, gathered to press for their dues.

Their demands include full payment of gratuities, Salary Deductions Allowance (SDA) based on the new national minimum wage, contributions to housing schemes, NAWIS/BenFund payments, and settlement of packing allowances.

The protesters expressed frustration over the delay, describing it as neglect of their years of service to the nation. They maintained that having fulfilled their obligations, the government must act swiftly to meet theirs.
