During proceedings at the Kano State High Court, both men pleaded guilty to the charge. Following their plea, the prosecution counsel urged the court to convict them based on the facts of the case.
Justice Nasiru Saminu thereafter sentenced the two men to six months imprisonment each, with an option of a N50,000 fine.
The EFCC operatives arrested the suspects and arraigned them in court, where the judge delivered the sentence after reviewing the evidence presented.
