Armed bandits on Monday evening attacked Layin Minister in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing two youths and making away with a large number of cattle.

According to a post by security analyst Bakatsine on X, the attackers stormed the village on motorcycles and opened fire, operating without resistance as residents fled in panic.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the assailants were heavily armed and shot sporadically, leading to the death of two young men before they escaped with the stolen livestock.

The incident has left the community in fear, with many residents likely displaced and livestock owners counting heavy losses.
