He assured that Ganduje is in stable health and not in any life-threatening condition.
Garba made this known during an interview on Monday, where he stated that despite Ganduje’s age, there is no cause for alarm. According to him, the 75-year-old politician may have minor health concerns typical of his age but remains strong and healthy, Daily Post reports.
He explained that Ganduje has been in London since the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, which is why he was unable to attend the funeral. He emphasized that if Ganduje’s condition were serious, they would not hesitate to inform the public so that supporters could pray for his recovery.
A family source also confirmed that there is no truth to the rumours. The source said they had spoken with people close to the former governor, and all indications show that he is doing well.
Ganduje’s health became a topic of public discussion after he stepped down as APC National Chairman, citing health reasons.
