The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has secured the final forfeiture of multiple properties, petrol stations, and bank accounts with over N333 million to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The anti-graft agency made the announcement on Wednesday via its official X handle, confirming that the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja, presided over by Justice Emeka Nwite, issued the final forfeiture order on July 14, 2025.

Among the forfeited assets is Galaxy Hospital, alongside five petrol stations situated across Kaduna, Borno, and Maiduguri. Other properties include residential apartments, farmlands, and plots of land spread across the Federal Capital Territory, Borno, Nasarawa, and Niger States.

Also affected by the court ruling are bank accounts belonging to several companies -Galaxy Transportation and Communication Service Ltd, Galaxy Computing and Electronics Service Ltd, and Galaxy Energy Int’l Concept Ltd which collectively held over N333 million.

The EFCC explained that the court order followed an application it filed, backed by a 36-paragraph affidavit, which argued that the properties and funds were suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities.

Earlier, the commission had obtained an interim forfeiture order and published the notice in a national newspaper. However, no individual or organization came forward to contest the ownership of the assets, paving the way for the final forfeiture.
