The Federal Fire Service, Kano Command, has announced the appointment of ASF Al-Hassan Ahmad Kantin as the new Public Relations Officer (PRO).

The appointment was made public through a statement signed on behalf of the State Controller of the Command on Wednesday.

According to the release, Kantin’s appointment is part of efforts to boost public engagement, strengthen fire safety campaigns, and enhance the image of the Command.

ASF Kantin is a seasoned officer with a solid academic foundation. He holds a B.Sc. in Business Information Technology, a Master’s degree in Information Management, and an M.Sc. in Information Technology.

He has served in several capacities within the Federal Fire Service, including the Chief Security Officer Unit, Store Unit, IT Unit, Protocol Unit, Special Services Unit, and the Operations Department as a Rider Officer. He also headed the Kano Free Trade Zone Fire Station as its Commander.

With a blend of professional experience, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to public service, Kantin is expected to lead proactive awareness initiatives and promote fire safety across Kano State.
