The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has confirmed a major military strike on Iran, targeting three of its key nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

The announcement, made on Saturday via Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, revealed that the operation involved a full-scale bombing campaign, with all U.S. aircraft now reportedly out of Iranian airspace.

Trump stated that the United States had completed what he described as a very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran. He emphasized that a full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary target, Fordow, and that all planes involved in the mission were safely returning. He praised the efforts of the U.S. military and described the operation as unmatched by any other military force in the world. He concluded his message by calling for peace and thanking the public for their attention.

Fordow, one of the main targets, is a heavily fortified nuclear facility located deep within mountainous terrain, believed to be buried approximately 300 feet underground. The site is specifically designed to withstand conventional military attacks.

This operation marks the first time in U.S. military history that bunker buster bombs have been used in combat. These specialized munitions are engineered to penetrate reinforced structures and underground bunkers, making them suitable for high-security targets like Fordow.

The airstrikes come amid ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran over nuclear development activities. As of the time of this report, Iranian authorities have not issued an official response.
