The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has responded to recent remarks by Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), labelling him a failed politician with no political influence.

Galadima had earlier suggested that Ganduje secured his position as APC National Chairman solely through the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Reacting to this, Ganduje dismissed the comment and questioned Galadima’s political relevance.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Oliver Okpara, Ganduje highlighted his accomplishments as a two-term governor of Kano State. He pointed to several developmental projects he initiated during his administration, stating that they continue to benefit residents of the state.

He contrasted his own track record with that of Galadima, noting that while he has a strong grassroots base and remains active in national politics, Galadima has little to show in terms of political achievements.

Ganduje also defended the current state of the APC under his leadership, describing the party as stable and growing. He argued that the NNPP, by contrast, is facing internal crises and lacks unity.

He maintained that Galadima’s criticisms stem from personal frustration and political failure, and urged the public to support parties that offer stability and development.
