According to a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, on Monday in Abuja, Ganduje emphasized the importance of unity among APC members abroad and encouraged them to align with the Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at driving Nigeria’s economic transformation. He acknowledged that while the reforms may be tough, they are necessary for long-term growth and national development.

He commended the efforts of diaspora members in expanding the APC’s influence beyond Nigeria’s borders through grassroots mobilization and recruitment. Their contributions, he noted, are crucial to the party’s success and the country’s progress.

Ganduje also reaffirmed the party’s commitment to pushing for diaspora voting, stating that the APC will continue to collaborate with the National Assembly to ensure Nigerians living abroad are fully included in the electoral process.

Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, the APC chairman expressed optimism about the party’s chances, pointing to increased internal stability and a wave of defections from opposition parties as signs of growing strength. He credited the party’s commitment to its constitution and internal democracy for its steady progress.

The newly appointed Chairlady of the APC France chapter, Hajjiya Amina Musa Baba Suzuki, highlighted the significant role of diaspora Nigerians in both economic and political spheres. She called for increased support for APC chapters abroad and emphasized the need for greater recognition of their contributions to national development. She also reiterated the importance of achieving voting rights for Nigerians in the diaspora.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Professor Hafsat Ganduje, the wife of the APC National Chairman, APC National Women Leader Dr. Mary Alile, and other party stakeholders.
