Three Fulani children kidnapped by suspected terrorists in Gwanda, Gurdi Ward, Abaji Area Council, Abuja, escaped after their kidnappers fell asleep.

Wozhe Ishaya, the councillor representing Gurdi Ward, confirmed the incident to reporters over the phone on Thursday, explaining that the victims were kidnapped on Tuesday night.

He stated that the terrorists stormed the community around 11 p.m. and abducted three children, ages 12, 14, and 16 years old, respectively.

“However, as God willed, the bandits slept off and did not tie them when the three Fulani boys quietly escaped from their den back to their settlement at Gwanda village,” he explained.

He revealed that the terrorists also took some rams to their den for personal use.

While confirming the development, Gulida district head Abubakar Sadauna condemned the terrorists’ attack on the community.
