19 ships discharge petrol , other items at Lagos ports

Nineteen ships were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, container, petrol, bulk urea and petcoke at the ports on Friday.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) made this known in its Daily Shipping Position.

It said that five other ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with petrol, base oil and jet fuel.

2 more grain ships leave Ukraine, bringing total to 12 under new deal

The ports authority said 21 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected from Aug. 19 to Aug. 31.

It said that the ships were expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

The expected ships contain general cargo, bulk gypsum, bulk urea, container, butane gas, base oil, bulk sugar, frozen fish, bulk clinker and automobile gasoline.
